The Fund aims to track the net total return performance of the MSCI Japan ESG Climate Paris Aligned Benchmark Select Index (the Index), less fees, expenses and transaction costs, thereby taking an approach that seeks to reduce the Funds exposure to transition and physical climate risks whilst pursuing opportunities arising from a transition to a lower carbon economy and aligning with the Paris Agreement requirements. In order to achieve the investment objective, the Fund will, as far as possible and practicable, hold all the shares in the Index in their respective weightings.
