Fund seeks to Achieve an attractive level of total return from a blend of Hard currency-denominated debt issued in Emerging Market Countries, local currencies of Emerging Market Countries and debt issued by corporate issuers in Emerging Market Countries. The Fund will invest primarily in debt securities and money market instruments which are issued by governments of, government agencies in or corporate issuers which have their head office or exercise an overriding part of their economic activity in Emerging Market Countries and which are either denominated in or are exposed to the currencies of such Emerging Market Countries or denominated in Hard Currency. For the purposes of the Portfolio, Hard Currency means US Dollar, Euro, Sterling.
